The Enneagram Prison Project (EPP) is a non-profit dedicated to serving people in prison and their potential future
EPP (www.enneagramprisonproject.org) offers group-facilitated programmes for men and women in prison. The programmes range from introductory 8 to 20-week programmes to advanced studies. Drawing on the Enneagram narrative tradition, students learn to find their own voice, to articulate newfound self-awareness, and demonstrate life-changing insights. The programmes help them to become conscious of the ways they can begin to hold themselves and live their lives.
EPP in the UK
The Enneagram Inside is a newly forming charity which is working to bring the Enneagram Prison Project to UK prisons. After an intensive training period last year, which included a visit to San Quentin where we taught a class to 60 men and a week-long intensive training in HMP Woodhill (in Milton Keynes) we have completed our first programme in Woodhill. We are currently delivering another in HMP Holme House (Stockton on Tees).
EPP Guides
The core of EPP is its Teachers, who act as “Guides” for students in prison, and facilitate the programmes. EPP is now actively recruiting deeply grounded, dynamic teachers of the Enneagram who are passionate about the EPP mission. If you would like to find out how to train as an EPP Guide, please contact Christine Adames at christine@enneagramprisonproject.org.uk .
Call for Trustees
We are looking to strengthen our trustee team and we are keen to hear from people who have experience in one or more of the following areas: –
- Charity/business management, governance, strategic planning etc.
- Financial management – with a view to becoming our Treasurer
- Fundraising
- Senior leadership experience
- Knowledge or experience of the UK criminal justice system
- An understanding/love of the Enneagram – or a willingness to learn.
We are always very happy to welcome volunteers to our team, who are not Trustees or Guides, but who would like to support the development of EPP in the UK.
